Lorne and Willa Wilbur, and sons, Peter and Daniel, offer steaks, roasts, ground meat, patties, soup bones, heart and liver.  Eggs are available seasonally.  Try it once and you will want to make it a regular lean meat choice and enjoy the personable, friendly service.  You are welcome to visit the farm and see the birds and buy direct from the farm but please call ahead to make sure someone is available.

Ostrich meat is the healthiest meat you can eat, and tasty.  It is 98% fat free, low cholesterol, high in protein and iron.  No other meat combines the flavor, versatility and nutritional benefits of ostrich.  The ideal PH balance does not attract harmful bacteria such as salmonella or E-coli.

Ostrich  and eggs have no antibiotics or growth hormones.  Delicious for eating or baking.  Alfalfa is the main food staple, fresh and pellet, with the odd sliced apple for a treat.

Ostrich oil is sometimes called “liquid sunshine” because the energy from the sun is stored in the oil.  It is the powerful anti-inflammatory of oils.
